Active IKON clients can reach on-call support 24 hours a day. When an in-home nursing assessment is clinically appropriate, we aim to arrange an LPN visit within 24 hours, subject to availability.

Already have a family doctor?
Good — we work with them
With your consent, our nursing team can communicate relevant assessments and changes with your existing physician. If you don't have a family doctor, an IKON-affiliated physician may be an option if that physician is accepting patients — choosing them is entirely optional and separate from home-care services.
Funded care
Using client-directed home-care funding?
Alberta's Client Directed Home Care Invoicing program allows eligible clients to choose participating providers for authorized services. Ask IKON about current participation and service availability — funded hours follow the client's authorization and the program's own requirements.
